Pricing imports
Short-lived negotiated prices from distributors and vendors (special bids, deal-reg, renewal price files) load via CSV/Excel/paste, into the catalog, onto an open quote, or both.

Why it matters for MSP sales ops
Bulk refresh negotiated prices
Supplier spreadsheets become catalog and quote lines without re-keying MPNs.
Two entry points
Products → catalog only; Quote editor → catalog + quote lines in one pass.
Overwrite by MPN
Re-import updates existing products; optional overwrite pricing (cost/sell/markup/margin/MSRP).
Pairs with Pricing books
Import loads or refreshes prices; pricing books apply customer overrides automatically.
In Salesbuildr
- Open Import productsStart from Products or an open quote. The wizard is the same; where you open it decides the outcome.
- Upload or paste, then mapCSV, TXT, or Excel, or paste rows. Map columns; Category is required and must already exist in Salesbuildr.
- Set overwrite togglesMatch on MPN to update existing products; optionally overwrite pricing (cost, sell, markup, margin, MSRP).
- Import and reviewCheck the import log; quote imports refresh line items automatically when you finish.
- Set bid references after importBid reference numbers are not pulled from the spreadsheet today. Set them on the line or via a pricing book after import.
Recommended MSP workflow: standardize on the sample template → use an AI project to reformat supplier files → re-import with overwrite → quote in one step from the editor → attach a pricing book for standing customer rates.
Premium: Pricing imports need the Import capability and Products importer permission (Premium). Ask on a demo for enablement on your tenant.
