The domains below are documented in the API reference. Use-case walkthroughs on this site show read-and-brief patterns; the Public API also lets you create and update records, and soft-delete (unlist) where supported, see the API reference and Public API help.

Use cases

Read/brief walkthroughs

Possibility language for agents and integrations. The walkthroughs below show Claude looking up companies, pipeline, catalog, and quotes in Salesbuildr and briefing you before anything goes out.

How to try this with Claude

Bring your own agent in your tenant, issue an api-key under Settings → Integrations → API Key, paste a read/brief prompt, human review before send.

What the API can do
Salesbuildr’s Public API also lets you create and update records, and soft-delete (unlist) where supported, details in the API reference / Public API help.

Writing through Claude
Step-by-step Claude recipes for creating quotes or moving deals aren’t published here yet. Ask on a demo if you want that path. A person should still review before anything reaches a customer.

Prospecting → account context

Your agent can look up a company and related contacts so outreach starts from your CRM truth (type, labels, external ids) instead of a blank form.

Pipeline standup

Your agent can pull a size-bounded list of opportunities (stage, probability, expected close, revenue/profit) and brief the team on what’s moving.

Opportunity from conversations

Your agent can use its email / calendar / transcript tools, then Upsert the Salesbuildr opportunity (customer ask in description) so the rep doesn’t retype what already happened.

Proposal from approved narrative

Your agent can list quote templates (and their widgets) then read existing quotes tied to opportunities so proposals inherit your structure.

Quality assurance

Your agent can QA a draft before send, line items against approved pricing books, discount groups, and catalog truth, plus proposal templates, widgets, and narrative consistency.

Sellable portfolio

Your agent can search the product catalog so recommendations stay inside what you actually sell, such as price/cost/markup, manufacturer/MPN, categories, bundles.

Governed price lists & discounts

Your agent can list pricing books and read quote discount groups so guidance stays on approved lists and policies, not invented in chat.

Structured catalog navigation

Your agent can walk categories or the category tree so humans and agents browse the portfolio the same way your CPQ is organized.

On-brand building blocks

Your agent can inventory quote templates and quote widget templates, the reusable sections and layout rules behind consistent proposals.

Renewal glance Beta

Your agent can read contract items (service, vendor, term, quantity, revenue/profit) for renewal prep, labeled beta; expect change.

Architecture

Agent ↔ tools flow

User and preferred agent can stay in an isolated secure environment. Your agent might fan out to Salesbuildr (primary) plus Microsoft 365 mailbox, Calendar, and Teams, then brief the team from CRM truth and quote context pulled via the Public API.
